About the Electrical Technician Role

Careers International is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role is integral to the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems within a paper manufacturing facility, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the electrical infrastructure that supports production processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, including motors, transformers, and switchgear used in paper manufacturing.
• Install, upgrade, and modify electrical wiring, lighting, and control systems for paper production equipment.
• Maintain accurate electrical drawings, schematics, and documentation for the paper mill's electrical infrastructure.
• Ensure adherence to relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations specific to the paper industry.
• Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures for electrical systems.
• Collaborate with other maintenance trades and production departments to support manufacturing operations.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment within the paper mill.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a technical diploma or associate's degree in electrical engineering technology or a related field.
• Have 2-5 years of experience as an Electrical Technician in a manufacturing environment, with a preference for experience in the paper industry.
• Demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Exhibit knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations applicable to paper manufacturing.

Advantageous Skills

Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming and troubleshooting is considered an advantage for this role.
