About Emperor and the Graphic Designer Role

Emperor, a corporate communications agency with nearly 30 years of experience, is seeking a Graphic Designer for a full-time position in Riyadh. The agency specializes in corporate communications, with over half of its work extending beyond reporting into areas such as brand development, employee engagement, campaigns, digital solutions, and content production for a diverse range of B2B clients.

Role Overview and Expectations

The Graphic Designer is expected to contribute proactively to creative projects. This involves thoroughly understanding project briefs, creatively pursuing optimal outcomes, and translating insights, information, and research into well-executed creative responses. Clear articulation of ideas to colleagues and stakeholders is essential, along with the ability to justify the quality and impact of one's work. A self-starter mentality, willingness to learn new skills, and a drive for continuous improvement are key attributes for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the team in the creation, rollout, and implementation of visuals, artwork, and animations.
• Develop creative assets for both print and digital formats.
• Collaborate with account managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of client needs and objectives.
• Interpret and apply brand and visual identity systems to produce high-quality creative executions.
• Extend creative concepts across various channels and outputs.
• Work collaboratively with creatives across different disciplines including print, digital, film, moving image, and copywriting.
• Adhere to studio systems and processes.
• Maintain discipline and vigilance in file and version management.

Required Experience and Skills

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in graphic design. A passion for design, curiosity, and a drive to push creative boundaries are highly valued. Strong communication skills are necessary for building trust and respect within the team and with clients. Experience working on animation projects is considered a bonus.
