Datamatics Technologies is seeking an experienced professional to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to maintaining and enhancing the company's IT infrastructure and operations within a dynamic enterprise environment.

The Role: IT Operations Engineer

The IT Operations Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, automation, and support of enterprise IT infrastructure and operations. This role requires 5-10 years of experience and expertise in infrastructure automation, configuration management, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and log management to ensure the availability, scalability, security, and performance of enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability using enterprise monitoring and logging solutions.
• Manage virtualization and private cloud environments.
• Perform infrastructure troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management best practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, Security, and Application teams to ensure reliable system operations.
• Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security, governance, and operational standards.
• Prepare operational documentation, runbooks, and technical procedures.

Required Experience and Skills

• 5-10 years of experience in IT operations, with a focus on enterprise-scale infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of automation-first operational practices.
• Experience working in Agile, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) environments.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to optimize infrastructure for high availability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency.

Work Environment

This role involves working within a collaborative environment, engaging with various technical teams including DevOps, Cloud, Security, and Application teams. The focus is on ensuring robust and efficient system operations across diverse infrastructure landscapes.
