Havelock One Interiors, established in 1998, is a prominent turnkey fit-out service provider operating across the Middle East. The company specializes in interior contracting and the manufacturing of bespoke joinery, metalworks, and sophisticated shop fittings. Due to strategic expansion within the key growth market of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Havelock One Interiors is actively seeking to appoint experienced leaders to its team.

The Lead Design Position

Havelock One Interiors is seeking a Lead Design to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves designing various projects for the company, ensuring unique and well-organized structures. The company undertakes diverse turnkey fit-out projects spanning sectors such as Hospitality, Hotels, High-End Residential, Palaces, F&B, Retail, Entertainment, Health, and Education.

Core Responsibilities

Produce architectural plans for management and client approval using CAD software and manual drawing techniques.
Gather necessary measurements, dimensions, and routine calculations for design layouts.
Rework and modify designs based on feedback and reviews from management and clients.
Collaborate with other Architects and Designers to exchange ideas and provide support.
Ensure all vital information and documentation related to designs is accurately recorded and maintained.
Verify that all layouts and blueprints comply with relevant industry codes and legal standards.
Collect precise information regarding design requirements for new projects.
Supervise design activities to ensure the accuracy and integrity of structural plans.
Maintain communication with clients during building construction to assist in resolving potential design-related issues.
Liaise with the Project Manager and all other relevant departments concerning design and engineering scheduling.

Required Experience and Attributes

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience. The ideal individual will be versatile, demonstrating strong creative design capabilities and effective time management skills. Essential attributes include excellent calculations and mathematical abilities, along with the capacity to develop projects through the full design process, from initial concept to final delivery.
