About the Role

Cactus Communications, through its flagship brand Editage, is seeking a Linguistics Specialist Saudi Arabic Najdi to join its global pool of freelance contributors. This contract position is fully remote and focuses on supporting ongoing AI and language-based projects, specifically with the Saudi Arabic Najdi dialect. Candidates should be based in or have a strong understanding of the Riyadh region, Saudi Arabia.

Role Context

The specialist will contribute to various language-focused tasks, working remotely on a flexible, ad hoc basis. This role is integral to refining and localizing content for advanced AI models, ensuring high linguistic quality and cultural relevance for the Saudi Arabic Najdi dialect across diverse subject areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and refine text, translations, and captions across general areas such as travel, food, lifestyle, and finance.
• Transcribe conversations and perform quality checks on linguistic data.
• Label or annotate voice, text, or image content for AI training purposes.
• Review and correct AI-generated outputs to ensure accuracy and natural language.
• Assist in localizing content specifically for AI models, focusing on the Saudi Arabic Najdi dialect.

Required Qualifications

• Near-native level proficiency in Saudi Arabic Najdi and a strong command of English.
• Excellent attention to detail and proven ability to follow complex instructions accurately.
• Prior experience (0-1 years) in translation, editing, or related language tasks is preferred.

Work Arrangement

This is a 100% remote, contract-based role offering flexible, ad hoc work opportunities. Contributors will engage with a wide variety of projects, becoming part of a global pool of language specialists supporting advanced AI and linguistic initiatives.
