About the Role

Qiddiya, located in Riyadh Province, Saudi Arabia, is developing a premier destination for entertainment, sports, and culture. As a cornerstone of Vision 2030, Qiddiya spans over 360 km2 and will feature world-class attractions. We are seeking a Manager - Anchor Cultural Program to lead the planning and delivery of key cultural experiences. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and is based in Riyadh.

Role Purpose

The Manager - Anchor Cultural Program will be responsible for leading the development and execution of flagship cultural programs and anchor experiences. These programs are designed to serve as key attractions within Qiddiya's Cultural and Heritage offering, contributing to the overall visitor experience and destination appeal.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage flagship cultural programs and signature experiences, defining concepts, themes, and formats for high-impact initiatives.
• Ensure anchor programs function as primary attractions within the destination's overall offering.
• Support the procurement process for third-party partners essential for the development and delivery of cultural programming.
• Oversee the execution of major performances and anchor events, coordinating across multiple teams to ensure large-scale delivery.
• Ensure alignment with operational, asset, and technical requirements for all programs.
• Manage relationships with high-profile performers, partners, and contributors, including coordinating contracts, schedules, and delivery requirements.
• Monitor the performance of anchor programs, including attendance, engagement, and visibility, identifying opportunities for impact enhancement.
• Ensure anchor programs are integrated within the broader programming calendar, aligning timing and positioning to maximize visitor flow and engagement.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 7–10+ years of experience, with a proven background in delivering large-scale, high-profile cultural programs, performances, or flagship experiences. Experience in designing and delivering high-impact programs within festivals, cultural platforms, or entertainment environments is required. The role demands experience managing complex, high-visibility programs that attract large audiences and drive visitation, alongside a strong understanding of program positioning, audience appeal, and experience design at scale.

• Demonstrated experience working with high-profile performers, artists, cultural figures, strategic partners, and production entities.
• Ability to manage contracts, expectations, schedules, and delivery requirements for premium participants.
• Strong relationship management skills with senior stakeholders and partners.
• Experience managing end-to-end delivery of large-scale productions, including technical, operational, and scheduling aspects.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple teams (Operations, Technical, Commercial, Marketing) to deliver complex programs.
• Experience managing multi-layered program requirements, including staging, rehearsals, and live delivery.
• Proven ability to deliver programs in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with tight timelines.
• Experience developing programs that drive attendance, engagement, and commercial outcomes.
• Understanding of how anchor programs contribute to visitor attraction, dwell time, and sponsorship value.
• Experience aligning programming with commercial and marketing objectives.
• Experience in major national or international events, or cultural festivals or entertainment platforms.
• Exposure to large-scale productions or live performances is highly preferred.
• Experience in the pre-opening or launch of flagship programs is an advantage.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, within the Riyadh Province. The role operates within a dynamic environment focused on the development and launch of a major entertainment, sports, and culture destination.
