About the Role

Qiddiya is seeking a Manager - Virtual City to provide technical oversight and quality control for the digital assets developed in Unreal Engine. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, requires over 10 years of experience in developing real-time 3D applications and managing complex digital asset structures.

Role Overview

The primary focus of this position is to ensure the technical excellence and integrity of the virtual city's digital assets. You will be responsible for overseeing the quality and structure of digital models and assets within Unreal Engine, ensuring they integrate BIM, GIS, and engineering data while adhering to rigorous technical standards and file structures. This role is crucial for streamlining workflows and maintaining high standards in digital asset management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain the quality and structure of digital models and assets in Unreal Engine.
• Develop, implement, and enforce technical standards for digital modeling, ensuring compliance across all digital assets.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of model updates from external consultants and designers.
• Establish and maintain robust file structures, workflows, and documentation to support technical compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to digital asset integration and modeling.
• Continuously assess and improve technical workflows to enhance the integrity of the digital models.
• Implement and execute best practices for asset compliance and digital data management.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Architecture, Computer Science, Game Development, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of proven work experience in developing real-time 3D applications in Unreal Engine and/or other virtual production pipelines.
• Proficiency in Unreal Engine with extensive experience in digital modeling within the Architectural Visualization field.
• Strong background in BIM, GIS, and the management of complex digital asset structures.
• Demonstrated ability to set up and maintain technical workflows, file structures, and compliance documentation.
• Experience with quality control protocols and technical troubleshooting in digital asset management, ensuring high standards of digital models.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh, within the Riyadh Province. The role involves working with digital assets and technical workflows for the virtual city project.
