About Alfanar and the Role

Alfanar is seeking an OT Cybersecurity Solutions Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to leading the development, positioning, and delivery of Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity systems and solutions. The manager will oversee technical development, pre-sales activities, and solution engineering to ensure all offerings are technically sound, competitive, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee technical development activities for OT cybersecurity solutions, including reviewing and approving proof-of-concepts and technical solution designs.
• Ensure the development of customized solutions based on specific project and site requirements.
• Guide vendor evaluation and technology selection processes to align with strategic objectives.
• Manage technical inputs for RFPs, proposals, and tender submissions, ensuring technical compliance and accuracy.
• Support technical workshops, presentations, and customer engagements, reviewing solution scope, assumptions, and technical risks during bidding stages.
• Oversee site surveys and technical risk assessment activities.
• Ensure effective transition of solutions from pre-sales to project execution and coordinate with project teams for system integration.
• Review and resolve complex technical issues that arise during implementation.
• Manage relationships with OT cybersecurity vendors and technology partners, approving tools, platforms, and solution components that align with customer and project requirements.
• Lead OT cybersecurity technical, engineering, and pre-sales teams, defining technical competency requirements and skill development needs.
• Promote collaboration across technical development, pre-sales, and engineering functions.

Leadership and Operational Accountabilities

• Recruit, recognize, and cultivate high performers, while guiding low performers towards improvement or appropriate action.
• Ensure fair treatment of subordinates, basing assessments on performance and planned results.
• Take full responsibility for operations, anticipating problems and making timely, proactive decisions.
• Deliver required results within established timelines, quality standards, and cost parameters.
• Make a tangible difference in the area of operation, striving to exceed business expectations.
• Translate corporate goals into actionable business plans, monitoring performance and initiating corrective actions.
• Monitor and control budgets and expenses to achieve optimum cost efficiency.
• Develop the organizational structure based on current and future requirements, ensuring job descriptions are in place for all roles.
• Develop and coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities.
• Promote and fully utilize automated systems, fostering a culture of digital adoption.

• Adapt to new and alternative techniques, technologies, management structures, and business models.
• Ensure a safe, secure, and legal work environment in accordance with standard regulations.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity solutions management or a related field.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
