About the Role

Norconsult Telematics is seeking a Power BI Developer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position focuses on supporting project monitoring and reporting through the development and maintenance of advanced data analytics and reporting solutions. The role is designed for individuals with 2-5 years of experience in this field.

Role Overview and Objectives

The Power BI Developer will be instrumental in ensuring project activities are accurately tracked, analyzed, and reported against defined objectives. This involves enhancing reporting processes, identifying data gaps through robust database analysis, and troubleshooting issues to maintain data integrity and reporting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain advanced reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI, Excel, and SQL.
• Design and manage dashboards and automated reporting solutions for project monitoring and decision-making.
• Generate ad-hoc reports and perform data analysis as requested by stakeholders.
• Analyze and profile complex datasets to identify trends, insights, and areas for reporting improvement.
• Create reusable data assets and reporting templates to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Assist project teams in monitoring daily activities and tracking performance against objectives.
• Support the Project Control Manager with report preparation and project data maintenance.
• Participate in project meetings concerning reporting, analytics, and automation requirements.
• Collaborate with the Project Control Manager to set and track monthly targets.
• Establish and uphold data quality standards for project reporting.
• Work with the reporting team to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
• Identify and implement enhancements to existing reporting processes.
• Provide timely and accurate reporting updates to relevant stakeholders.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server technologies.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience developing solutions using Power BI.
• Strong proficiency in DAX, MDX, Power Query, and advanced calculations.
• Deep understanding of relational, multidimensional, and analytical database design principles.
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful visuals and narratives.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role involves close collaboration with project teams and management to ensure effective data reporting and analysis.
