About the Presales Principal Architect Role

Atos is seeking a Presales Principal Architect to join its team in Riyadh. This is a full-time position requiring over 10 years of experience. The role is instrumental in leading and shaping technology and transformation initiatives for Atos' clients, aligning with the Atos KSA/MET Growth Plan and Execution framework. This position demands a combination of deep technical expertise, strategic business understanding, and leadership to translate client business objectives into robust, future-ready architectural solutions and actionable roadmaps.

Technology Consultancy and Advisory Responsibilities

In this capacity, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with customer executives and technology leaders to define and build business outcome-driven technological transformation visions, SMART objectives, and strategic plans.
• Leading and governing Enterprise Architecture (business, technical, data, and security) using frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman 5 to produce strategic blueprints.
• Conducting feasibility analyses, including modernization assessments (6R model, Greenfield/Brownfield), to define and guide Minimum Viable Product (MVP)-based roadmaps.
• Developing business cases for multi-year programs, outlining MVP-based roadmaps and phased rollouts using agile, waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.
• Ensuring that strategic blueprints comply with regulatory requirements, including PDPL, CCRF, NCA, GDPR, and ISO 27001.

Opportunity to Contract (O2C) Engagement

Your engagement in the Opportunity to Contract phase will involve:

• Partnering with Account Executives and Sales Leaders to drive strategic accounts and establish influential customer engagement to secure and deliver contracts.
• Leading customer requirement gathering and responding to RFI/RFP/RFQ requests to deliver end-to-end solutions that highlight Atos' Unique Selling Propositions (USPs).
• Focusing on key commercial metrics such as Time to Value (T2V), Time to Market (TTM), Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Service Level Agreements (xLAs), quality, cost, and profitability.
• Driving Atos Offering Portfolios and leveraging Atos' strategic global and local technology product and service partnerships.

Key Deliverables and Expected Outcomes

Key contributions and expected results include:

• Creation and presentation of comprehensive Atos Portfolios & Capabilities aligned with customer visions, business requirements, strategy architecture blueprints, and security models.
• Development of detailed business cases, including Business Values, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and Return on Investment (ROI).
• Definition of MVP-based roadmaps and wave-based rollouts.
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of AI aspects within Sovereign Multi-Cloud and Modern IT & Smart Infrastructure, including End-to-End AI Observability & AIOps and transformation.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess:

• A minimum of 15 years in Information Technology, with over 5 years in senior architecture roles, demonstrating a proven track record of leading enterprise solutions at CXO level and with next-tier leadership.
• In-depth knowledge of Public Sector, Government, Energy, and Financial Services domains, particularly within the KSA market, with experience delivering transformational solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
• Extensive experience in architecting and implementing comprehensive infrastructure security strategies, engaging stakeholders at C-suite and executive levels to address risk posture, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Technical and Foundational Skills

Essential skills include:

• Foundational Skills: Collaboration with sales engineers, infrastructure assessment, compliance evaluation, organizational risk posture analysis, supporting proof-of-concepts, technical workshops, solution validation, customer presentations, solution architecture and sizing, proposal preparation, RFP response, integration of partner offerings, creating detailed architectural documentation for Multi-Cloud and Modern IT & Smart Infrastructure, adherence to industry standards and regulatory frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR), demonstrating innovation, and maintaining strong customer relationships throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Cloud & Hybrid Architecture: Expertise in AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid/multi-cloud environments, including design of landing zones, governance models, and sovereign cloud architectures.
• Cloud Migration & Modernization: Strong experience in rehost, replatform, and refactor strategies, including application, database, and infrastructure modernization to the cloud.
• Infrastructure & Platform Engineering: End-to-end design across compute, storage, network, and data center, with experience in platform engineering, automation, and orchestration frameworks.
• Managed Services & AIOps: Experience with multi-cloud managed services (CloudOps), observability, automation, AIOps, and autonomous operations.
• DevOps / FinOps / SecOps: Proficiency in cloud-native delivery, cost optimization (FinOps), and security/compliance (SecOps).
• Data Center, Edge & Hybrid: Experience with data center modernization, hosting, and edge/low latency architectures, including hybrid integration across cloud, on-premise, and edge environments.
• AI & Automation: Understanding of AI-driven infrastructure and automation, including predictive operations, anomaly detection, and remediation.
• Network & Security Architecture: Experience in network transformation (DC fabric, zero trust) and secure connectivity platforms.
• IT/OT & Observability: Knowledge of IT/OT convergence, edge observability, and real-time analytics use cases.
