About the Role

Amazon MENA is seeking a Principal Account Executive to manage and grow strategic accounts within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, will involve owning the go-to-market strategy and execution for these key accounts, driving revenue growth, and shaping industry partnerships. The role reports to the KSA Leadership team and requires collaboration with regional stakeholders to achieve ambitious growth objectives. Travel to key customer sites will be necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain trusted C-level relationships with strategic accounts, fostering partnerships based on customer focus, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Development, Solutions Architecture, Partners, Marketing, and Customer Success, to address complex customer business and technical challenges.
  • Identify opportunities for transformation, mitigate execution risks, and replicate successful strategies through scalable sales plays and mechanisms.
  • Utilize data and metrics to manage pipeline health, ensure forecasting accuracy, and drive sales productivity.
  • Represent Amazon Web Services (AWS) at industry events and promote innovation across the sector.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience managing large, complex enterprise accounts or equivalent.
  • Experience in specific technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data, and analytics.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior executives, demonstrating a strong understanding of enterprise customer decision-making processes.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience solving problems with technology in Saudi Arabia.
  • Familiarity with opportunity and pipeline forecasting methodologies or equivalent.
  • Over 10 years of Enterprise Sales Experience with a demonstrated history of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals that deliver measurable business impact.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; proficiency in Arabic is preferred.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, KSA. The role requires travel to key customer sites as needed to support account management and business development objectives.
