About the Procurement Governance & Reporting Specialist Role

Qiddiya | القدية is seeking a Procurement Governance & Reporting Specialist to join their team in Riyadh Province, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to enhancing the transparency and accountability of procurement activities within the organization. The role requires a professional with 2-5 years of experience to establish and maintain robust governance frameworks and develop effective reporting systems for procurement performance and compliance monitoring.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Procurement Governance & Reporting Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining procurement governance policies and procedures. This includes ensuring that all procurement processes align with organizational policies, local regulations, and industry best practices. A key aspect of the role involves developing and managing reporting tools and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making and providing regular reports on key performance indicators, compliance status, and risk assessments to senior management.

  • Design, implement, and maintain governance policies and procedures for procurement.
  • Ensure procurement processes comply with local regulations, internal standards, and best practices.
  • Develop and manage procurement reporting tools and dashboards.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance, compliance, and risk.
  • Analyze procurement data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in auditing procurement processes for adherence to governance frameworks.
  • Support the identification and mitigation of procurement-related risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote governance and compliance.
  • Facilitate training on governance policies and reporting requirements for procurement staff.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in procurement governance, compliance, or reporting within a large organization is required. Proficiency in data analytics tools and Microsoft Excel is essential for effective reporting and analysis.
