About the Role

Alfanar Precast is seeking a QA/QC Civil Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is critical for ensuring that all products and projects meet the required standards of quality, reliability, and performance. The role involves supporting the development and implementation of quality control procedures, assisting with inspections and audits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address quality issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all dimensions and embedments conform to project drawings.
• Communicate with designers to resolve any conflicts or ambiguities in designs.
• Follow issued Requests for Information (RFIs) and provide necessary comments.
• Monitor and ensure that all comments and rectifications are implemented.
• Represent the department in joint inspections with consultants, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Verify that only approved materials are utilized in project execution.
• Clarify any project arrangements that require specific execution.
• Raise any encountered quality concerns to prevent recurrence.

Quality Management and Continuous Improvement

• Support the development and implementation of robust quality control procedures.
• Assist with quality inspections and audits to ensure compliance.
• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in quality processes.
• Work with cross-functional teams to effectively address and resolve quality issues.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
• Enhance existing processes to improve overall efficiency.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for all Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Monitor the effective implementation of Corrective Action Requests (CARs).
• Document and report any non-conformities and observations, including required RCAs.
• Follow through on all required corrective actions for implementation.

• Comply with all relevant company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure adherence to relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined work area.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a QA/QC Civil Engineering role.
• Demonstrated ability to follow and implement quality processes and standards.
• Proficiency in conducting inspections, audits, and analyzing data for improvements.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with designers, consultants, and clients.
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action Requests (CARs).

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the Alfanar Precast division. The role requires active participation in a dynamic environment focused on maintaining high standards of quality and continuous improvement.
