About the Role

Tahaluf, a joint venture between Informa PLC, the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones (SAFCSP), and the Events Investment Fund (EIF), is seeking a Senior Conference Producer to join its team in Riyadh. Tahaluf is a leading organizer of B2B live and on-demand events in Saudi Arabia, contributing significantly to the global events sector through large-scale projects such as LEAP, Cityscape, Black Hat MEA, and CPHI Middle East. This is a full-time position.

Role Overview

The Senior Conference Producer will be responsible for developing and managing high-level conference programs within a fast-paced industry. This role requires a proactive individual who can engage with international expert speakers, articulate the value of their participation, and meticulously manage speaker logistics and on-site order of events. The primary focus will be on Money 20/20 Middle East, a key event in the region's fintech marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce relevant and high-quality industry conference programs.
• Liaise with key professionals, institutions, and companies for program development.
• Engage with and confirm attendance of recommended speakers.
• Maintain an updated speaker database with accurate lists and files.
• Prepare and deliver creative brief documents to the Marketing team.
• Provide leads to the sponsorship team and attend relevant sales meetings.
• Mentor other conference producers within the team.
• Conduct post-show analysis, including job title analysis.
• Conduct thorough market research with industry professionals and the target market.
• Develop new conference ideas and program content through research and expert consultation.
• Collaborate with the Exhibition Director and sales team to enhance the conference portfolio.
• Identify key opinion leaders, institutions, and companies relevant to events.
• Build and maintain relationships to develop compelling conference topics and speaker lineups.
• Explore opportunities for additional delegate attraction, such as workshops and partnerships.
• Provide on-site support during events as required, which may involve extended working hours.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive proven experience in conference production, with a specific focus on the finance and fintech sectors.
• Demonstrated experience in successfully delivering large-scale conferences, including managing conference tracks and budgets.
• A good understanding of and experience within the KSA market, with potential exposure to government entities.
• Ability to perform in dynamic, fast-paced environments, maintaining a solutions-focused approach and delivering results under pressure.
• A commitment to continuous improvement, with a track record of enhancing processes and implementing new initiatives.

Desirable Experience

• Experience in a research-based role.
• Sales experience, including proposal creation, pitching, and closing.
• Journalism skills, including copywriting and editing.
