About the Senior Solution Architect Role

CodeNinja Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves leading the design and governance of enterprise-scale technology solutions across digital platforms, cloud environments, integrations, and enterprise applications. The role requires close collaboration with business, product, engineering, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient solutions aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture initiatives for digital channels, payment ecosystems, APIs, integrations, and enterprise platforms.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Develop and review architecture deliverables, including High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), integration architectures, infrastructure designs, and deployment models.
• Design enterprise integration solutions utilizing APIs, middleware, messaging platforms, and event-driven architectures.
• Architect cloud-native and hybrid-cloud solutions across modern cloud platforms.
• Provide architectural guidance for microservices, containerized applications, and enterprise middleware environments.
• Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to establish architecture standards and CI/CD best practices.
• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, availability, and performance requirements.
• Participate in architecture governance, technical reviews, and major incident analysis.
• Lead technical workshops and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business functions.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. A minimum of 10 years of experience in Software Engineering, Systems Integration, Enterprise Architecture, or related fields is required, with at least 5 years in a Solution Architect or Senior Technical Leadership role. Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale solutions within Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, Payments, or other highly regulated industries is essential.

Technical Expertise

• Enterprise, Solution, Application, Integration, and Cloud Architecture.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, OCI, or GCP.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies including Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker.
• Knowledge of enterprise middleware and web application platforms.
• Experience with database technologies including Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and performance management tools.

Preferred Qualifications and Attributes

Experience with Digital Payments, Payment Gateways, Wallet Platforms, Merchant Services, Open Banking, or ISO 20022 is preferred. Experience working within regulated financial environments is also advantageous. Professional certifications such as TOGAF, AWS, OCI, Kubernetes, or OpenShift are considered a plus.
