About the Role

Amgen Inc is seeking a Sr Biopharmaceutical Representative specializing in Hematology for a full-time position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves active collaboration with district promotion managers, evaluating progress against plans, and contributing to cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will engage with peers to enhance product knowledge and demonstrate a strong understanding of the healthcare industry and trends within Saudi Arabia, ensuring timely customer follow-up and accurate CRM reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the district promotion manager to develop and implement territory Plans of Action (POA) and key account plans.
  • Evaluate monthly progress against established plans and agree upon necessary course corrections.
  • Contribute to cluster/territory teams, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Value & Access teams to align on key account plan objectives and responsibilities.
  • Engage with peers, the District Manager, and cross-functional teams to continuously improve product knowledge.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of the healthcare industry and current trends in Saudi Arabia.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on customer commitments and requests.
  • Report customer activity accurately in the CRM system and maintain up-to-date customer profiles.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Amgen selling approaches to satisfy customer needs.
  • Ensure high-quality implementation of Amgen Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Operate within the agreed expense budget, ensuring alignment with POA priorities.
  • Seek input and assistance to prioritize activities effectively and follow up with customers promptly.
  • Continuously develop and enhance product knowledge, communication, and selling skills through self-learning and active participation in agreed training programs.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience (0-1 years) in the pharmaceutical industry in a sales-related job with a track record of achieving consistent results.
  • Must be a Saudi national and based in Riyadh.
  • Preferred experience in oncology, hematology, or a biotechnology-related field.
  • Understanding of the Saudi Arabia healthcare system and patient flow, particularly within the public sector.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, including CRM databases and MS Office applications.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated time management skills, including the ability to prioritize activities and complete work in a timely manner to meet deadlines.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role operates within a collaborative team structure that includes district, cluster, and cross-functional teams, fostering continuous professional development.
