About the Role

Givaudan is seeking a Taste & Wellbeing Key Account Manager to join its Sales team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on providing dedicated support to an expanding customer base and increasing market share for Givaudan's key Taste & Wellbeing solutions across various categories. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience and offers an opportunity to contribute to a company with a rich heritage in innovation.

Role Context and Objectives

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing business plans targeting strategic customers to deliver innovative Taste & Wellbeing solutions. Your efforts will directly contribute to achieving Givaudan’s commercial objectives in the region. This role involves working with customers in the Beverages, Savoury, Sweet goods, Snacks, Dairy & Cheese, and Nutraceuticals sectors, understanding their needs, and ensuring Givaudan's offerings are well-positioned.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain business by identifying new opportunities and managing the project pipeline, leveraging Givaudan's resources.
  • Partner with customer R&D and Marketing teams to understand their strategies, positioning, and ensure Givaudan's participation in briefs and core listings.
  • Monitor flavour trends, competitive activities, and product development, gathering marketing data to support business goals.
  • Manage key accounts and prospects, follow up on submissions, oversee wins through to production and launch, and achieve budgeted sales targets.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or Business Studies.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in B2B Sales, Business Development, or Key Account Management roles within international environments.
  • Experience with companies in the Flavours, Food, Beverage, Ingredients, Chemicals, Industrial, or Packaging sectors is preferred.
  • A strong passion and appreciation for the world of flavours.
  • Good knowledge of customers and competition, with an existing network being ideal.
  • Excellent oral and written proficiency in English.
  • Strong business and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent presentation and project management skills.
  • Good IT skills.

Work Location and Travel

This role is based in Givaudan's office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The position requires frequent travel within Saudi Arabia, estimated at approximately 30% of your time.
