The Role
The Hostess is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests in the luxury hotel’s dining establishments. This includes:
  • Guest Greeting: Warmly welcome guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and inviting first impression of the restaurant.
  • Reservation Management: Manage reservations and seating arrangements to enhance guest experiences.
  • Seating Coordination: Escort guests to their tables and inform them about daily specials.
  • Waitlist Management: Maintain an organized waitlist during busy periods.
  • Communication: Collaborate with the service team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Guest Service: Address guest inquiries and concerns professionally.
  • Dining Area Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness and organization at the host stand.
  • Event Support: Assist in coordinating special events.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather and communicate guest feedback to management.

Skills/Knowledge Required
Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong verbal communication, organizational abilities, attention to detail, and composure under pressure are crucial for success in this role.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for long periods and maintain composure while managing guest flow during busy periods.

Qualification Standards
Preferred candidates will have a high school diploma, and previous experience in a guest service role, preferably in a luxury setting is desirable. Neat and well-groomed appearance is required.

The Role
As a Lifeguard, your role is to warn swimmers of improper activities or danger and enforce pool regulations and water safety policies. You are also responsible for administering first aid in the event of injury, rescuing swimmers in distress or danger of drowning, and administering CPR and/or artificial respiration, if necessary.

Key Areas of Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the workstation is always clean.
  • Adhere to end of shift report procedures.
  • Ensure all pool and beach furniture is neatly arranged and cleaned.
  • Provide guests with towel and chair service.
  • Engage with guests and ensure all interactions are polite, helpful, and professional.
  • Call out warnings to prevent potential hazards.
  • Supervise swimmers to ensure safety protocols are followed.
  • Perform rescues and administer first aid as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of pool use and chemical levels.
  • Check safety equipment and ensure it is well-maintained.
  • Comply with hotel and departmental rules for safety, security, and environmental standards.

The Role
As a Barista, your role will involve preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, with a special focus on coffee. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of all drinks served, maintaining a clean and welcoming work environment, and providing excellent service to our guests. You will engage with guests, share your passion for coffee, and create memorable experiences for every person you serve.

Key Areas of Responsibilities
Please note that the responsibilities outlined below are not exhaustive. Red Sea Global Hospitality employees continuously innovate in caring for the needs of the business, their guests, and their colleagues. As Barista, you will need to:
  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and other specialty drinks to meet guest preferences.
  • Ensure consistency and quality in every drink served, following established recipes and techniques.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, taking orders and answering questions about the menu.
  • Maintain a clean and organized coffee station, including regular cleaning of equipment, countertops, and seating areas.
  • Ensure that all coffee and tea supplies are stocked, and report any shortages to the manager or supervisor.
  • Create an inviting and positive atmosphere, ensuring guests feel welcome and appreciated.
  • Accurately handle cash and process payments, including using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Assist in opening and closing the café, including setting up the coffee station and ensuring that it is properly cleaned and stocked at the end of the shift.
  • Maintain knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing techniques, and the latest trends in coffee culture.
  • Assist in managing inventory, ensuring proper storage and rotation of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies.
  • Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Provide recommendations to guests based on their preferences and educate them about the various coffee offerings.
  • Support the team during peak hours, helping to ensure smooth operations and a positive guest experience.
  • Perform any other duties as required to ensure the success of the café and satisfaction of our guests.
