About the Role:
As a Senior Cost Accountant at Aquat Food Industries, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis related to our production and operations. This position is vital for ensuring accurate cost records and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization.

As a Senior Cost Accountant at Aquat Food Industries, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis related to our production and operations. This position is vital for ensuring accurate cost records and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Analysis & Reporting: Prepare and analyze cost reports, variance analyses, and profit margins while monitoring changes in manufacturing costs, materials, and labor.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in annual budget preparation and rolling forecasts, providing detailed cost projections and identifying potential savings.
- Inventory Accounting: Oversee inventory valuation, reconciliation, and control processes to ensure accurate records of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Financial Control & Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS) and assist in audits by preparing necessary documentation and analyses.
- Process Improvement: Analyze manufacturing processes for cost efficiency and recommend improvements, supporting ERP implementation and automation initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CMA preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in cost accounting or manufacturing accounting.
- Experience with ERP systems (*, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced Excel capabilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
