We are in urgent need of a qualified Marine Mechanical Technician with hands-on experience in Caterpillar marine engines and systems. This role is crucial in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing propulsion engines and auxiliary systems to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations.

Based in Jeddah, the position may involve working onboard vessels, in shipyards, or workshops. It may also require travel, night shifts, or emergency calls.
We are in urgent need of a qualified Marine Mechanical Technician with hands-on experience in Caterpillar marine engines and systems. This role is crucial in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing propulsion engines and auxiliary systems to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair Caterpillar marine engines, generators, and systems.
- Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and overhauls.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and fuel systems.
- Maintain service documentation and ensure safety compliance.
- Work closely with vessel crew and stay updated with Caterpillar standards.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or certificate in Mechanical/Marine Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Caterpillar marine engines.
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
- Marine/safety certifications (*, STCW) are a plus.
- ✅ Transferable Iqama is mandatory.
- Good communication skills and teamwork.
