Join Western Coast Port Services Company as a Marine Mechanical Technician!We are in urgent need of a qualified Marine Mechanical Technician with hands-on experience in Caterpillar marine engines and systems. This role is crucial in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing propulsion engines and auxiliary systems to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations.
Responsibilities:- Diagnose and repair Caterpillar marine engines, generators, and systems.
- Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and overhauls.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic and fuel systems.
- Maintain service documentation and ensure safety compliance.
- Work closely with vessel crew and stay updated with Caterpillar standards.
Qualifications:- Diploma or certificate in Mechanical/Marine Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Caterpillar marine engines.
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
- Marine/safety certifications (*, STCW) are a plus.
- ✅ Transferable Iqama is mandatory.
- Good communication skills and teamwork.
Work Conditions:Based in Jeddah, the position may involve working onboard vessels, in shipyards, or workshops. It may also require travel, night shifts, or emergency calls.
