About the Ecommerce Manager Role

Colgate-Palmolive is seeking an experienced Ecommerce Manager to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience to drive growth and operational excellence within the e-commerce landscape for a global consumer products company known for its trusted brands in households worldwide.

Account Strategy and Growth

In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for strategic e-commerce partners, responsible for owning and growing these relationships. Your focus will be on driving mutual business growth through negotiation of favorable terms, ensuring superior brand presence, and achieving operational excellence across all digital accounts. You will develop and execute data-driven account plans to meet sales, margin, and market share targets, identifying new product opportunities, promotional mechanics, and digital marketing collaborations to maximize revenue and profitability. Regular business reviews with key stakeholders will be conducted to share performance insights, market trends, and strategic recommendations. Annual contracts, including terms and promotional calendars, will be negotiated in partnership with account buyers and senior management, while effectively managing trade investments and budgets for optimal ROI.

Digital Shelf and Operations Excellence

A key aspect of this position involves monitoring and optimizing critical e-commerce performance metrics, including impression, traffic, and conversion rates, alongside supply chain KPIs such as service levels and inventory health. You will collaborate closely with Supply Chain and Distributor teams to ensure accurate demand forecasting, maintain optimal stock levels, and achieve high fill rates while preventing stock-outs. Delivering best-in-class digital shelf execution, including product titles, descriptions, imagery, and A+ content, will be essential, with continuous performance review and corrective actions driven through a scorecard.

Demand Generation and Collaboration

This role requires leveraging digital investments to drive full-funnel demand generation, with a strong emphasis on consumer journeys from awareness to purchase. You will build robust plans to accelerate category growth across various sub-channels and develop search and display strategies in collaboration with Media and Brand Marketing teams. Acting as an integral member of a cross-functional team, you will lead collaboration with Marketing, Retail Marketing, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to align on digital advertising, social media campaigns, and content strategies.

Data Analysis and Insights

The position demands the use of data and analytics to drive informed decision-making across all facets of account management and demand generation. A deep understanding of the competitive landscape, shopper behavior, and emerging e-commerce trends is necessary to proactively identify risks and opportunities.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Economics, Management, or a relevant field. A minimum of 6 years of experience in eCommerce marketing or account management is required, ideally within a multinational FMCG company with leading brands. Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office or Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs) is also necessary.
