Neweast Isuzu is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Accountant to join our finance team in Khobar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring that financial transactions are accurate and comply with company policies and regulations. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and financial discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support budget preparation and monitor expenditures to ensure financial controls.
• Handle VAT returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Prepare and file statutory reports and assist with audits.
• Ensure timely processing of payments, invoicing, and receipts.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve financial performance.
• Assist with any ad-hoc financial reporting and other finance-related tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
• Experience with accounting software (*, QuickBooks, ERP systems).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

We are excited to offer an opportunity within our Middle East Finance team. As an Accountant, you will play a vital role in managing and maintaining accurate accounting records in compliance with both local and group regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely compliance with all statutory filing obligations.
• Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and prepare necessary journals.
• Liaise with auditors regarding accounting issues and internal control compliance.
• Monitor and enhance departmental controls and procedures.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the Oil & Gas or construction sectors.
• Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members internationally.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (preferably SAP).
• Self-starter with a solutions-oriented mindset.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
• CIMA, ACCA Qualification or equivalent (or working towards it).
