About the Sales Specialist Role at PepsiCo

PepsiCo is seeking a Sales Specialist to join our team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience. PepsiCo products are consumed over a billion times daily across more than 200 countries and territories. Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities

The Sales Specialist is responsible for analyzing sales data for assigned products and recommending solutions to management when sales performance is low. This may involve adjusting product displays, relocating products within stores, and managing the performance of merchandising teams. The role involves direct engagement with outlets to ensure product visibility and availability.

Core Accountabilities

  • Monitor and visit assigned outlets according to the daily journey plan.
  • Merchandise PepsiCo products in various locations within outlets, including shelves, stands, and floor displays.
  • Place Point of Sale (POS) materials where applicable, adjacent to product displays.
  • Ensure all product placements adhere to approved planograms.
  • Rotate stock using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method and remove substandard products.
  • Maintain clean and fresh stock of products on shelves at all times.
  • Monitor and report on competitive activities.
  • Report any deviations from agreed terms with assigned customers or outlets.
  • Participate in sampling or redemption campaigns as required.
  • Maintain appropriate personal appearance and professional behavior in line with the company's code of conduct.

Key Performance Indicators

Performance will be measured based on:

  • Execution Standards.
  • Adherence to the Set Journey Plan.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess:

  • Experience in management skills, specifically with direct sales teams.
  • A service-level oriented approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
