About the Role

Amazon is seeking an Associate Marketplace Consultant to join its Third-Party Marketplace team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on supporting the growth of small and medium-sized businesses within the e-commerce sector, contributing to new business acquisition and seller success on the Amazon platform.

Role Context and Business Development

Working within a dynamic business development environment, the Associate Marketplace Consultant will contribute to new business acquisition through lead generation, phone/email-based business evaluation, and supporting the launch of new sellers. The role involves building strong relationships with selling partners to identify growth opportunities and incorporating seller feedback to enhance Amazon’s products, services, processes, systems, and tools for all third-party sellers, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Core Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and recruit high-potential merchants for targeted brands and product types via phone, email, or field visits.
  • Identify key selection addition opportunities for targeted brands/product types by spotting popular trends to ensure portfolio growth.
  • Implement and track metrics for recording the success and quality of sellers within the portfolio, using these metrics to guide work and uncover opportunities.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Amazon tools and services to ensure efficient adoption across sellers.
  • Work closely with selling partners, educating them about Amazon’s standards for Delivery and Customer Experience.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of sales experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Experience

  • 2+ years of sales experience.

Candidate Profile and Work Environment

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills. This role operates in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment, requiring the ability to work autonomously and take full control and responsibility for achieving business objectives.
