About the Role
SmartChoice International GCC is partnering with a rapidly expanding fintech business in Saudi Arabia to enhance their commercial team. This full-time position for a Business Development Manager is based in Riyadh and offers an opportunity to contribute to a high-growth organization at the forefront of digital payments and financial innovation within the Kingdom.
Role Overview
The Business Development Manager will be instrumental in driving revenue growth and market expansion for the company. This role involves identifying and securing new corporate clients, managing the entire sales cycle, and developing strategic business development plans. Collaboration with internal teams is essential to ensure a positive client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and acquire new corporate clients across Saudi Arabia.
- Develop and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities through proactive prospecting and market engagement.
- Oversee the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
- Formulate and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth client onboarding and a high level of customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of pipeline activities, forecasts, and reports using CRM systems.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform strategy.
Experience and Qualifications
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Between 5 to 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the payments, fintech, banking, FX, or financial services sectors.
- A demonstrated history of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- A strong new business acquisition and client hunting orientation.
- Experience in selling financial or technology solutions to corporate clients.
- Proficiency in building relationships and managing stakeholders effectively.
- The ability to engage with senior decision-makers and navigate complex sales processes.
- Solid commercial acumen, with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
Work Location and Type
This is a full-time position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
