About the Business Development Manager Role

Nextwo Co. is seeking a full-time Business Development Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This hybrid role involves identifying and cultivating new partnership and revenue opportunities, with a focus on startups, enterprises, and ecosystem partners involved in AI-powered product development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate fluency in using AI tools for daily professional tasks.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for building and managing a prospect pipeline, conducting thorough market and competitor research, and preparing compelling proposals and presentations. This role also involves supporting the negotiation of agreements that ensure mutual benefit. Collaboration with internal business and technical teams will be key to designing offerings, events, and initiatives aimed at attracting partners. Maintaining strong relationships with existing partners, tracking performance metrics, and providing regular reports and insights to support strategic growth are also core functions of this position.

Key Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated hands-on experience utilizing AI tools in daily work, such as for proposal preparation, research, content creation, or analysis, coupled with a strong interest in AI-powered product development.
• Proven skills in business development, sales, and partnership management, with a history of successfully building and closing growth-oriented opportunities.
• Experience in market research, opportunity analysis, and strategic planning to identify market trends and inform go-to-market strategies.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are considered a significant advantage for engaging local partners and community members.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, with the capacity to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Understanding of technology landscapes, startups, or developer communities, with potential familiarity with areas like AI builders or digital product development.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a hybrid work environment.
• Experience within the Saudi or GCC tech ecosystem, including established networks with startups, corporations, or innovation hubs, is highly advantageous.
