About the General Accountant Role

Esnad Contracting is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Accountant to join its Finance team in Riyadh. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for individuals with 0-1 years of experience to develop their accounting skills in a professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain and reconcile General Ledger (GL) accounts.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure correct classification and recording of financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate accounting documentation and supporting records.
• Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and schedules.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure accurate financial information.
• Adhere to company policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in Accounting or General Ledger.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role offers a professional environment for early-career accountants to build practical experience.
