About the Role

Le Meridien is seeking a Host Health Club to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on maintaining health club facilities, ensuring guest safety and satisfaction, and providing essential support within a fitness and recreation environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of fitness center machines and remove towels, trash, and debris from the fitness center area.
  • Ensure an adequate supply of cups and water in the recreation area.
  • Clean fitness and recreation area restrooms and showers.
  • Obtain, fold, and stack towels according to company procedures; distribute lockers and towels to guests.
  • Conduct inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment, informing the supervisor or manager of low supply items.
  • Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities and activities.
  • Promote a relaxing atmosphere for guests and enforce the rules and regulations of the recreation facility for guest and member safety.
  • Provide assistance to injured guests until the arrival of emergency medical services.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Communicate professionally, answer telephones using appropriate etiquette, and develop positive working relationships with others.
  • Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Qualifications and Experience

  • High school diploma or *** equivalent.
  • No related work experience is required for this position.
  • No supervisory experience is required.

Required Certifications

  • CPR Certification
  • First Aid Certification
  • Fitness Equipment certification
  • Any certification or training required by local and state agencies.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
  • Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
  • Capacity to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Professional Conduct and Standards

The successful candidate will adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance. This includes maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information and protecting company assets. The role requires completion of all safety training and certifications, alongside a commitment to quality assurance expectations and standards.
