About the Maintenance Supervisor Role

Laverne Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all preventive and corrective maintenance activities across its branches and facilities in Riyadh. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring the operational readiness of buildings, equipment, and technical systems. The role involves leading the maintenance team, coordinating with external parties, and upholding high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for a range of duties to ensure the smooth operation of all facilities:

• Supervising and monitoring preventive and corrective maintenance activities across all company locations.
• Ensuring the proper functioning of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, lighting, civil works, and interior maintenance systems.
• Responding promptly to emergency maintenance issues to minimize operational downtime.
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring preventive maintenance schedules to maximize asset reliability.
• Conducting regular site inspections to identify maintenance needs and opportunities for improvement.
• Leading, supervising, and allocating tasks to the maintenance team across multiple sites.
• Monitoring team performance, providing coaching, guidance, and conducting performance evaluations.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and maintenance procedures.
• Coordinating daily activities to ensure the timely completion of maintenance requests.
• Coordinating with external contractors and service providers for specialized maintenance work.
• Evaluating contractor performance and ensuring work meets quality standards and agreed timelines.
• Supporting vendor selection and negotiating service agreements as needed.
• Preparing purchase requests for maintenance materials, tools, and spare parts.
• Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring the availability of critical maintenance supplies.
• Coordinating with the Procurement Department to source cost-effective and high-quality materials.
• Preparing periodic maintenance reports, site inspection reports, and performance updates.
• Tracking maintenance KPIs and recommending process improvements.
• Ensuring compliance with local regulations, safety requirements, and company standards.
• Assisting in budget planning and monitoring maintenance-related expenditures.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, Maintenance, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications in maintenance or facilities management are considered an advantage.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance operations.
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Previous experience in retail, commercial facilities, or multi-site operations is highly preferred.
