About the Role
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, *** is seeking a Manager for In-Room Dining to oversee daily operations in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on delivering exceptional guest service within the hospitality sector.
Operational Management
This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of Room Service operations. Key duties include supervising and directing employees, ensuring adherence to property policies, and maintaining operational standards. The position requires understanding employee roles to cover duties in their absence and ensuring staffing levels meet guest service, operational, and financial objectives.
Team Leadership and Development
The Manager will lead the Room Service team by fostering trust, respect, and cooperation. This involves setting performance standards, providing guidance and feedback, and developing specific goals to achieve departmental objectives. Effective communication of business objectives and performance expectations is crucial, alongside recognizing team member contributions and striving for continuous improvement in service performance.
Financial Oversight
The position involves participation in the financial management of the department. This includes comprehending budgets, operating statements, and payroll reports, and actively managing controllable expenses to meet or exceed budgeted financial goals.
Guest Experience and Service Excellence
A primary focus is ensuring exceptional customer service by delivering services that exceed guest expectations. This involves understanding guest needs, providing feedback and coaching to employees to improve service, and managing daily operations to meet quality standards. The Manager will interact with guests to gather feedback on product quality and service levels, handle guest issues, and set a positive example for guest relations.
Human Resources and Training
Responsibilities include identifying developmental and educational needs of staff, providing coaching and training, and supporting departmental orientation programs. The Manager will train staff on cash handling and credit policies, monitor adherence, and solicit employee feedback to address concerns and improve satisfaction. This role also involves participating in employee performance appraisals.
