About the Product Engineer II - QA Role

Tamara, a leading fintech platform in Saudi Arabia and the GCC region, is seeking a Product Engineer II - QA to join its team in Riyadh. This role is integral to ensuring the quality of products and services, contributing to exceptional user experiences. The position is full-time, and the salary is not disclosed.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

As a key member of the team, you will leverage your software quality assurance expertise to manage testing processes and design. Your responsibilities will include developing technical test solutions, leading automation efforts, and enhancing QA CI/CD processes. You will collaborate closely with engineers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to maintain high standards across Tamara's systems.

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Perform manual and automation testing for mobile applications (Android and iOS), web, and backend services.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Design, develop, and execute automation tests using internal automation frameworks and systems.
• Identify root cause issues, document them thoroughly, and track bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as developers and product managers, to identify system requirements, adhering to Agile methodologies and practices.
• Adapt to new testing tools and test methodologies.

Qualifications and Experience

Tamara is looking for a QA professional with technical excellence and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys team collaboration, and approaches challenges with a solution-oriented mindset. The role requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science is required.
• Experience working with different testing frameworks such as Detox, Selenium, TestNG, Appium, etc.
• Experience with Manual and Automation Testing, including API, E2E, and Mobile testing.
• Design and development skills in Javascript and Java.
• Experience with MySQL and scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and continuous integration concepts.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Experience with DevOps and AWS is considered a plus.
