About the Project Manager Role

King Salman International Airport is seeking a Project Manager (Architecture) to oversee the design and construction phases of architectural projects in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 0-1 years of experience and focuses on ensuring projects align with objectives, timelines, and quality standards, while managing execution for safety, operational efficiency, and timely delivery of high-quality facilities.

Project Oversight and Coordination

The Project Manager is responsible for the comprehensive coordination and oversight of architectural projects from inception through completion. This involves developing detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, costs, and resource allocation. Effective stakeholder engagement and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle are critical. The role requires diligent monitoring of project progress, milestones, potential risks, and key performance metrics to ensure adherence to established goals.

Construction Management and Quality Assurance

A key aspect of this role is the management of on-site construction activities. This includes ensuring strict compliance with approved plans, schedules, budgets, and established standards. The Project Manager will evaluate change requests, assessing their impact on project scope, cost, and timelines. Furthermore, the role ensures a smooth project handover process, encompassing all necessary permits, documentation, and readiness requirements for operational use.

Architectural Design and Technical Review

This position involves a strong focus on architectural integrity. Responsibilities include reviewing architectural designs to confirm functionality, compliance with regulations, and alignment with overall project requirements. The Project Manager will monitor architectural construction activities to ensure the design intent is accurately maintained during execution. Coordination of architectural interfaces with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders is also a core function. This includes reviewing material submittals, mock-ups, and architectural shop drawings, and supporting quality inspections to ensure adherence to architectural standards and specifications.

Adherence to Policies and Issue Resolution

The Project Manager is expected to strictly follow all relevant company policies, processes, and standard operating procedures. This includes actively supporting the resolution of escalated issues and providing necessary assistance to team members. For complex or critical issues that require higher-level intervention, the Project Manager will escalate them to the appropriate authority for timely resolution.
