About the Opportunity

WSP is expanding its Landscape Design Studio and is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to join the team in Riyadh, KSA. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to significant and transformative developments across Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East region.

The Role of Senior Landscape Architect

The Senior Landscape Architect will be a highly creative design professional, demonstrating exceptional conceptual thinking, strong hand-sketching capabilities, and advanced digital visualization skills. This role focuses on delivering innovative, sustainable, and high-quality landscape solutions across a variety of project scales, supporting major projects within the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of landscape architecture and public realm concepts from visioning through detailed design stages.
• Produce high-quality hand sketches, freehand illustrations, and digital visualizations to effectively communicate design intent.
• Support landscape master planning, urban design, public realm, and detailed landscape architecture projects.
• Collaborate with architects, urban designers, engineers, planners, and environmental specialists to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Develop creative, sustainable, and cost-effective landscape design proposals aligned with client aspirations and project objectives.
• Prepare presentations, reports, drawings, design narratives, and technical documentation.
• Participate in client meetings, workshops, and design reviews, presenting concepts and design solutions.
• Support project delivery from concept design through construction stages while maintaining WSP's quality standards.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continued growth of the Landscape Design Studio.
• Stay informed of emerging industry trends, design technologies, sustainability initiatives, and best practices.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in delivering landscape architecture and public realm projects, particularly within the Middle East region. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of landscape detailing, construction methodologies, and project delivery processes, alongside the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a collaborative environment.

Required Experience and Skills

• Over 10 years of experience in landscape architecture, with a proven track record of delivering projects across the Middle East.
• Strong understanding of landscape detailing, construction methodologies, and project delivery processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, KSA, as part of a growing Landscape Design Studio. The role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated design solutions for a range of projects.
