About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Senior Specialist - Design & Delivery to oversee the implementation, support, and management of Material Control systems within the Food & Beverage sector and Event Management systems across Qiddiya and SEVEN. This full-time position requires a strong understanding of F&B operations, inventory and material control processes, and event management systems within the entertainment, hospitality, and leisure industries. The role involves 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Manager in managing F&B Material Control and Event Management systems to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, recommend, and implement process improvements.
  • Support the closure of ServiceNow tickets related to Material Control and Event Management applications.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, process guides, and support procedures.
  • Provide training and support to business users and team members on system functionality and processes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to Material Control and Event Management systems.
  • Coordinate with Application Operations teams to facilitate smooth project handovers and ongoing support.
  • Provide Level 2 support for Material Control and Event Management applications, coordinating with vendors and third-party providers for Level 3 issue resolution.
  • Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and proactively address operational risks.
  • Coordinate project schedules, resources, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful delivery and operational continuity.
  • Support Material Control applications, including inventory management, procurement, warehouse management, recipe and cost control, food waste management, and stock management systems.
  • Support Event Management platforms, including event planning, registration, ticketing, venue management, guest management, accreditation, and workforce scheduling systems.
  • Coordinate application integrations with ERP, Finance, CRM, POS, and other business systems.
  • Participate in system enhancements, upgrades, testing activities, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Ensure system configurations, workflows, and integrations align with business requirements and operational objectives.
  • Support data accuracy, reporting, and system governance initiatives.

Required Experience and Skills

This role requires a foundational understanding of F&B operations, inventory, and material control processes, as well as event management systems. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, develop system documentation, and provide user training. Experience in supporting Level 2 applications and coordinating with vendors for issue resolution is necessary. Familiarity with system integrations, enhancements, upgrades, and testing is also expected.

System Support Scope

The Senior Specialist will be instrumental in supporting a range of critical systems. This includes Material Control applications such as inventory management, procurement, warehouse management, recipe and cost control, food waste management, and stock management. Additionally, support will extend to Event Management platforms covering event planning, registration, ticketing, venue management, guest management, accreditation, and workforce scheduling. Coordination of application integrations with core business systems like ERP, Finance, CRM, and POS is a key function.

Operational Support and Improvement

A core aspect of this role involves ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of supported systems. This includes monitoring system performance, proactively identifying and addressing operational risks, and supporting the resolution of ServiceNow tickets. The specialist will also be involved in coordinating project schedules and resources to ensure successful delivery and ongoing operational continuity, working closely with Application Operations teams for seamless handovers and support.
