About the Smart Home Project Manager Role

SSC HR Solutions is seeking an experienced Smart Home Project Manager to lead and oversee the execution of smart home projects. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, requires a professional with a proven track record in managing complex technical projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Smart Home Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of smart home projects. This includes detailed planning, resource allocation, budget management, and ensuring timely execution. The role demands close coordination with internal teams, external contractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth project implementation and integration of smart home systems. Key duties involve monitoring project progress, proactively addressing issues, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with technical standards and client expectations.

  • Lead and manage the complete lifecycle of smart home projects, from initial planning through to final delivery.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal departments, contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless project operations.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on schedule, within the defined scope, and according to budget.
  • Monitor project advancement and promptly resolve any emerging issues or delays.
  • Oversee the installation, integration, and commissioning of various smart home systems.
  • Verify adherence to all technical standards, quality benchmarks, and client requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project duration.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation for all project-related activities.
  • Provide regular performance reports and project updates to senior management.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess a substantial background in project management within the smart home or related technology sectors. The position requires a minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience, with a specific emphasis on 8 years in Project Management within the Smart Home industry. Prior hands-on experience with smart home systems or similar technical solutions is a mandatory requirement. Experience working within the GCC region is preferred.

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of overall project management experience.
  • Approximately 8 years of dedicated Project Management experience in the Smart Home industry.
  • Mandatory prior experience with smart home systems or comparable technical solutions.
  • GCC experience is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and execution frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple stakeholders and large-scale technical projects.
