Role Overview: Swimming Instructor & Lifeguard

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh. The role combines the responsibilities of a swimming instructor and a lifeguard, focusing on ensuring the safety and development of participants in the academy’s aquatic facilities. The position requires a commitment to upholding the academy's standards of safety, instruction, and athletic development.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor pool areas to ensure the safety of all swimmers and visitors.
• Enforce safety rules and regulations within the aquatic facilities.
• Prevent accidents and respond promptly and effectively to emergencies.
• Conduct regular checks of pool equipment, water quality, and safety materials.
• Report any identified hazards or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Provide clear guidance and instruction to swimmers of various ages and skill levels.
• Support swim programs and training sessions, contributing to participant development.
• Participate in required safety drills and refresher training sessions.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated strong swimming ability and water safety skills, including the capacity for rescues and first response.
• Valid Lifeguard certification from a Saudi lifesaving federation.
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications.
• Knowledge of pool safety regulations, emergency procedures, and basic aquatic facility maintenance.
• Previous experience as a lifeguard, swim instructor, or in a similar aquatic safety role is preferred, ideally within the 5-10 year range.
