About the Role

Dar Al Riyadh Consultants is seeking an experienced Agriculture Inspector for a full-time position in Jeddah. This role requires a strong engineering background with over 10 years of experience to ensure the quality and compliance of agricultural systems, irrigation networks, and landscape works according to established engineering standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections of agricultural and landscaping projects, including irrigation, drainage, and soil systems.
• Verify that construction and maintenance activities adhere to approved drawings, specifications, and relevant standards.
• Review and interpret engineering plans for agricultural systems, providing technical feedback as needed.
• Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship on-site, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Identify non-conformities, recommend corrective actions, and prepare detailed inspection reports.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and maintenance teams to schedule inspections and address technical issues.
• Support the implementation of sustainable agricultural practices and water-efficient irrigation systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspection findings, including photographs and follow-up actions.
• Stay informed about emerging agricultural technologies, local regulations, and engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• A minimum of 10 years of engineering experience in agricultural operations, irrigation, or maintenance projects.
• A strong understanding of irrigation systems, soil management, drainage networks, and landscape engineering principles.
• Proven experience in inspection, reporting, and quality control within an engineering or agricultural context.

Essential Skills

• Excellent communication and report-writing skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is considered an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and familiarity with engineering drawings and inspection tools.
• Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.

Work Context

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah. The role involves regular site visits and collaboration with various project stakeholders. The specific salary for this position is not disclosed.
