About Nahdi Medical Co. and the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Dermatology Nurse to join their team in Medina, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to providing high-quality patient care within a clinical setting.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Dermatology Nurse is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care, utilizing the nursing process, and meeting established standards of nursing practice and performance. This role involves providing care in clinics or the emergency department, as assigned, according to established policies and evidence-based practice. Key duties include accurate and timely documentation of all relevant information, and ensuring the clinic is prepared for effective use by the physician, covering consumable material stock levels and medical equipment readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with all policies, procedures, clinical protocols, standards, and guidelines based on legislation and evidence-based nursing practice.
• Report equipment failures, safety and security issues, and/or reduction of supply inventory to the nurse supervisor.
• Act as an advocate for patients and families.
• Co-operate and work effectively with other professionals in the multi-disciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Comply with policies for personal and patient safety and for the prevention of healthcare-associated infections.
• Promote a safe environment and safe patient care by embracing a safety culture.
• Contribute to the achievement of clinical quality outcome indicators and patient satisfaction.
• Participate in self-education, training, and development, as applicable.
• Contribute to the achievement of cost efficiency savings on the unit.
• Maintain an awareness of resource utilization, exercising care in the ordering and use of staff, equipment, and materials.
• Complete the nursing assessment and document medical history from the patient.
• Adhere to the Medicines Management for the safe keeping and administration of medication.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Dermatology Nurse position should possess 0-1 years of relevant nursing experience. A commitment to professional nursing standards and patient well-being is essential.

Working Conditions

This role operates entirely within an indoor environment (100%). The work schedule comprises 6 working days per week, with 1 day off. Daily working hours are 8 net hours, structured according to a shift schedule approved by the head of the department.
