About the Role

العلو التعليمية is seeking a Graphic Designer specializing in book design to join our team in Medina, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This contract role focuses on the comprehensive design and production of educational books, ensuring a professional visual learning experience from concept to final print-ready files.

Role Overview

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing the visual identity of educational books. This includes designing covers, coordinating internal page layouts, and creating various visual elements such as dividers, headings, illustrative drawings, and icons. All work must adhere to established printing standards, corporate identity guidelines, and specific educational content requirements, with a focus on delivering editable and printable files.

Key Responsibilities

• Design book covers and establish the overall visual identity for publications.
• Develop internal templates, including headers, footers, headings, tables, and dividers.
• Create icons, illustrations, and other supporting visual elements for content.
• Coordinate and produce book pages in accordance with professional printing standards.
• Prepare final files for printing and provide editable formats (InDesign, Illustrator, or Word as needed).
• Incorporate feedback and revisions until final design approval is achieved.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in book or print design.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• A strong portfolio showcasing previous work in educational or academic book design.
• Familiarity with printing and artistic production standards.
• Prior experience in educational book design is preferred.

Work Environment and Type

This is a contract position based in Medina, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a designer capable of working independently while adhering to project timelines and quality standards.
