About the Role

Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) is seeking a Pediatric Nurse 3 to provide advanced-level nursing care within an assigned unit in Al-Ahsa. This full-time role focuses on maintaining high standards of patient care, resolving complex clinical issues, and supporting operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care services, with a focus on complex cases.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care from admission through discharge, specific to the patient's age.
• Perform a wide range of nursing procedures with attention to accuracy, patient safety, and comfort, while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment.
• Provide nursing care and patient/family education consistent with the plan of care and patient needs, respecting privacy, dignity, personal preference, and culture.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency and lifesaving situations using clinical skills, critical thinking, and evidence-based practices.
• Support exclusive breastfeeding guided by the Saudi MoH 10 Steps to Successful Breastfeeding.

Strategic and Operational Contributions

• Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at improving nursing practices within the assigned unit.
• Participate in the development of protocols and processes to enhance patient safety and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient care delivery and achieve high patient experience.
• Assist in managing workflow, ensuring proper resource utilization, and providing mentorship to junior and intermediate-level nurses.
• Precept new hires and trainees during their probation training period, providing recommendations regarding progress and training needs.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and participate in the evaluation of patient outcomes.
• Support the empowerment of nurses through the enculturation of the JHAH nursing Professional Practice Model.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required.
• Ability to achieve and/or maintain the mandated set of activities for level 3, which includes a minimum total of 20 points in at least four categories within each 12-month cycle as outlined in the Clinical Advancement Program.

This is a full-time position within Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare, located in Al-Ahsa, focusing on pediatric nursing care.
