Your innovative mindset and expertise will play a crucial role in shaping sustainable urban environments in the Al Bahah region. In this position, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement effective urban planning strategies tailored to the needs of diverse communities while adhering to sustainable practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of urban environments, incorporating demographic, economic, and environmental factors to inform planning decisions.
  • Develop land use planning, zoning regulations, and policies that guide urban development and community growth.
  • Engage with community stakeholders such as residents, businesses, and government agencies, facilitating input and participation in the planning process.
  • Create detailed reports, presentations, and visualizations to clearly communicate planning concepts and proposals.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, landscape architects, and other professionals to ensure cohesive project outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the implementation of urban plans and policies, making adjustments as necessary to meet evolving community needs.
  • Stay updated on trends in urban planning, sustainability, and local government regulations.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in urban planning, community development, or regional planning.
  • Membership or eligibility for membership in a recognized planning accreditation body (*, APA) is a plus.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in planning and design software (*, GIS, AutoCAD, SketchUp).
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in demographic analysis and spatial data.
  • Ability to create compelling visualizations and presentations using design software.
Core Competencies:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective engagement with diverse stakeholders.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities, coupled with a passion for sustainable urban development.
