About the Role

Amentum is seeking an Aviation Electrician Lead to perform comprehensive electrical maintenance on H-60 helicopters. This full-time position is based in Al Jubail, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, and requires a skilled electrician capable of executing Planned Maintenance Interval Inspections (PMI), Organizational, Intermediate, and Depot level maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of major assemblies, subassemblies, and wire and connector replacements on H-60 aircraft and related systems.
• Conduct inspection, troubleshooting, fault detection, fault isolation, and implement corrective actions on electrical and utilities systems.
• Operate and maintain all applicable ground support equipment.
• Identify, use, and maintain common, special, and precision tools for powerplant maintenance and repair.
• Manage all maintenance documentation, applicable forms, records, and reports using appropriate references and publications, including the NAMP.
• Provide On-the-Job-Training (OJT) for Saudi technicians and other personnel, including maintaining training records.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 8 years of current or previous experience performing complex helicopter electrical work, including inspections, testing, adjusting, aligning, assembly/disassembly, repair, replacement, modification, and troubleshooting of aircraft electrical systems, equipment, AC/DC power, flight controls, fire detection, power distribution, fuel, and utilities systems.
• Ability to correct discrepancies by removing, repairing, or replacing defective circuits, wires, connectors, control units, plugs, switches, circuit breakers, diodes, resistors, capacitors, relays, and other parts of aircraft electrical systems.
• Proficiency in performing final functional checks on existing and newly installed aircraft electrical systems, equipment, wiring, and cables to verify continuity, resistance, amperage, and insulation breakdown using standard and specialized tools.
• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical theory, principles, circuitry, circuit configuration, aircraft electrical systems and their interrelationships, and a working knowledge of electronic principles.
• Ability to trace signal paths through printed circuits and aircraft wiring to troubleshoot, modify, repair, overhaul, and maintain complex electrical systems such as antiskid, automatic flight control, and fuel indicating systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic diagrams, and technical directives.
• Candidates must pass a background check and drug test. The role may also require obtaining and maintaining a secret clearance.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily. Physical demands include walking and standing on level and inclined surfaces for extended periods, climbing stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands. The ability to lift 50 pounds, distinguish color, and judge three-dimensional depth is also required.
