About the Role

Tecnimont is seeking a Construction HSE Field Supervisor for a contract position in Al Jubayl, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for ensuring that all field activities comply with Tecnimont's HSE policy, regulations, standards, and procedures. The Supervisor will promote necessary preventive and corrective actions, reporting to the Construction HSE Coordinator or, when acting as the Tecnimont HSE representative, to the Site Manager.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform job hazardous analysis (JHA) and participate in job safety analysis (JSA).
• Verify the adequacy and application of the site HSE plan and related procedures, preparing revisions as needed.
• Update HSE documentation throughout all construction phases when necessary.
• Ensure subcontractors perform activities in accordance with applicable HSE procedures, regulations, and standards, promoting actions to ensure observance.
• Organize, plan, and participate in periodical HSE walk-arounds, inspections, and audits on site.
• Prepare reports and action plans from inspections, verifying follow-up and timely execution of corrective actions.
• Organize, coordinate, and directly participate in HSE training activities on site.
• Organize and participate in all relevant site HSE meetings, preparing the Minutes of Meeting (MOM).
• Cooperate with the client regarding the issuance of necessary work permits.
• Perform and/or promote the indoctrination and training of personnel.

Safety Leadership and Coordination

• Organize full investigations of work accidents to identify corrective measures and prevent reoccurrence.
• Maintain accident records, identifying areas requiring prevention efforts.
• Lead and coordinate the activities of the site HSE committee, comprising contractor and subcontractor HSE representatives.
• Lead and coordinate the site emergency response team and fire prevention/fighting team, organizing training and emergency drill mock activities.

Reporting and Performance Monitoring

• Prepare the HSE section of the construction monthly progress report and other periodical reports.
• Prepare and update site HSE statistics, verifying performance against project and corporate HSE objectives, targets, and performance indicators.
• Propose recovery plans in cases of performance mismatch.

Candidate Requirements

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in a construction HSE field supervision role.
