The Role of Electrical Technician I

KBR is seeking an Electrical Technician I to join the team. This full-time role involves leading, supervising, and coordinating daily Instrument maintenance activities performed by technicians. The position is critical for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of Instrument systems, plant equipment, and facilities within a designated area of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate day-to-day Instrument maintenance activities on all Instrument systems, plant equipment, and facilities.
• Act as the focal point for the daily Instrument maintenance execution plan.
• Ensure technicians comply with SATORP's Safety and Quality procedures during maintenance activities.
• Conduct frequent site visits to ensure proper work execution and monitor routine maintenance tasks.
• Lead technicians assigned to the area of responsibility.
• Receive and translate work directions from the Instrument foreman into actionable tasks for Instrument systems maintenance orders/requests.
• Follow up on Instrument maintenance work progress, submit regular reports to the Instrument foreman with recommendations, and maintain records against planned maintenance programs.
• Collaborate with the Instrument foreman to recommend and implement changes for improving the availability and reliability of Instrument/instrument systems.
• Assist in implementing engineering modifications and enhancements to Instrument equipment to increase suitability and serviceability.
• Enforce policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring all safety measures and precautions are strictly observed during onsite maintenance.
• Ensure personnel possess the necessary skills, training, resources, equipment, and tools to conduct routine maintenance safely and effectively.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Hold a valid certification from a recognized third-party certification body or an accredited Saudi institute, attesting to qualifications and competency.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance management for Oil & Gas Facilities.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience.
