About the Opportunity

KBR Saudi Arabia is seeking an Electrical Technician I to join their team in Al Jubail. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience and involves leading and coordinating maintenance activities for critical plant systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and coordinate the day-to-day Instrument maintenance activities developed by technicians on all Instrument systems, plant, equipment, and facilities within the designated area of responsibility.
  • Act as the focal point for the daily Instrument maintenance execution plan.
  • Ensure technicians comply with and apply SATORP's Safety and Quality procedures during the execution of Instrument maintenance activities.
  • Conduct frequent site visits to ensure proper execution of work and check on technicians engaged in routine maintenance activities.
  • Lead technicians assigned to the area.
  • Receive work directions from the Instrument foreman related to Instrument systems maintenance orders/requests and translate these directions into actions.
  • Follow up on Instrument maintenance work progress and submit regular progress reports to the Instrument foreman with recommendations.
  • Keep a record of daily maintenance works against planned maintenance programs and prepare work completion reports, where applicable.
  • Work closely with the Instrument foreman in recommending and implementing changes aimed at improving the availability and reliability of Instrument/instrument systems within the designated area of responsibility.
  • Assist in implementing engineering modifications and enhancements to Instrument equipment by making recommendations to increase the suitability and serviceability of Instrument systems.
  • Enforce policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring all safety measures and precautions are strictly considered and taken care of during onsite maintenance works.
  • Ensure personnel have the skills, training, and all needed resources, equipment, and tools to conduct routine maintenance activities safely and effectively, according to contract terms and conditions.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 6 years of experience in a relevant technical field.
  • Proactive safety aptitude and behavior.
  • Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems effectively.
  • An ability to achieve business results working in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Flexibility to travel internationally and reside in KSA.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia.
