The Role: Head of Planning and Scheduling

KBR is seeking a Head of Planning and Scheduling to provide control and coordination for all planning and scheduling activities. This role specifically focuses on Routine Maintenance across all operational areas, encompassing Preventive, Corrective, and Predictive Maintenance executed by contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the contractor’s maintenance planning section by providing essential technical information and solutions.
• Prepare comprehensive long-term maintenance plans.
• Ensure the effective utilization of efficient maintenance systems, such as CMMS.
• Monitor and collect relevant data from the system for management review and analysis.
• Propose and implement solutions for the optimization of resources.
• Provide critical inputs for the preparation of the maintenance budget across all plants.
• Review actual versus budgeted maintenance expenditure and recommend necessary actions to minimize deviations.
• Prepare monthly reports highlighting work plans and major completed activities, and attend regular maintenance department meetings.
• Monitor Maintenance planning section Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) against established targets.
• Review and present manpower planning strategies.
• Follow up with operations, services, and the company maintenance department regarding planning-related issues.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position must possess over 10 years of experience in planning and scheduling, specifically within a maintenance context.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Al Jubail, located in the Eastern region.
