HVAC Senior Technician

About the Role

Johnson Controls Arabia is seeking an HVAC Senior Technician to join their team in Al Jubail. This full-time role involves installing and commissioning HVAC system field devices, as well as providing technical support and troubleshooting for existing systems. The ideal candidate will have 4 years of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Install basic required system field devices and perform commissioning using standard configuration and commissioning tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems within HVAC systems.
• Respond to basic warranty calls and address customer concerns.
• Keep Johnson Controls, contractors, and customers informed of job progress and any emerging issues.
• Deliver work output according to specific operational targets.
• Explain facts, practices, and policies to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Correct or resolve issues and problems in existing systems and processes, including making minor changes.

Problem Solving and Technical Application

This role frequently involves addressing problems and issues that fall within a single job area or discipline, with a well-defined scope. Less often, problems may be vaguely defined, requiring an understanding and consideration of other job areas. The technician will primarily use specialized knowledge of specific commercial, technical, or trade operations, and less frequently apply broad theory and principles within a professional discipline or advanced technical practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• A 2-year degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is suggested for this position.

Work Environment and Scope

This is an individual contributor role with no direct responsibility for leading others. The application of knowledge is primarily domestic and limited to locations within a country or neighboring countries with similar cultural contexts.
