About the Role

KBR Saudi Arabia is seeking an Instrument Technician III to join our team in Al Jubail. This full-time position is critical for ensuring the reliability and availability of instrument assets, which are essential for maintaining the continuous operation of process units. The role requires a professional with 2-5 years of relevant experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and coordinate the activities of maintenance technician teams, focusing on compliance with preventive maintenance plans and efficient execution of breakdown maintenance on Instrument systems, equipment, and facilities within the designated area.
  • Execute monthly and weekly maintenance plans.
  • Control and submit regular progress reports on maintenance activities.
  • Provide onsite maintenance and repairs for various types of instruments, including generators, transformers, and motors.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with established standards, specifications, safety procedures, manufacturer’s recommendations, and contract terms.
  • Act as the focal point for the daily Instrument maintenance execution plan.
  • Conduct frequent site visits to ensure proper execution of work and monitor the activities of technicians engaged in routine maintenance.
  • Follow up on Instrument maintenance work progress and submit regular progress reports with recommendations to the Instrument foreman.
  • Maintain records of daily maintenance works against planned maintenance programs and prepare work completion reports as applicable.
  • Assist in implementing engineering modifications and enhancements to Instrument equipment by making recommendations to increase the suitability and serviceability of Instrument systems.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a relevant technical role.
  • Strong technical understanding of maintenance management within Oil & Gas Facilities.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve business results while working effectively in a multi-cultural environment.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within process units to ensure the operational reliability of critical instrument assets.
