About the Opportunity
Tasnee (National Industrialization Co.) is seeking a dedicated Technician VI, Instrument to join their team in Al Jubail. This full-time role focuses on ensuring the reliable operation of instrumentation through effective preventive and corrective maintenance activities within the petrochemical or oil & gas sectors.
Role Overview
The Instrument Technician VI is primarily responsible for executing Instrument Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) activities. The successful candidate will apply strong instrumentation skills in both preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to maintain operational efficiency and safety standards, contributing to the overall integrity of plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on instrument equipment according to schedules and procedures.
- Issue and close work permits in compliance with established safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot and repair instrument equipment to diagnose and resolve operational issues.
- Utilize SAP for closing and updating assigned work orders accurately and efficiently.
- Undertake leadership tasks at a lead technician level when required, guiding junior team members.
- Adhere strictly to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Review preventive maintenance procedures for all assigned equipment to ensure their effectiveness and relevance.
- Execute hard communicator or transmitter calibration tasks with precision.
- Demonstrate knowledge in Safety Integrity Level (SIL) testing.
- Apply knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) in daily tasks.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Diploma in Instrument or an equivalent qualification is required.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience or above working as an Instrument Technician in the Petrochemical or Oil & Gas sectors.

- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills in instrumentation and control systems.
- High attention to safety, quality, and compliance standards in all work activities.
- Effective teamwork and communication abilities to collaborate with colleagues and other departments.
- Ability to work under pressure and consistently complete tasks to a high standard.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities to address complex technical challenges.
